Measuring Basics

• Always use a steel tape measure. Never use cloth tapes.
• Measure the width first and then the height.
• Record all measurements exactly.
• Measure each window separately, even if they appear to be the same size.
• Look out for potential trouble spots, such as protruding window handles.

Measuring Inside the recess

• Make three measurements for each dimension.
• Measure the window recess width at the top. middle and bottom.
• Measure the window recess height at the left centre and right.
• Record the smallest width and the smallest height measurements.

Roller Blinds Inside Recess...
We always ask you for the recess size, then we will deduct 3mm for the "pin-size" (bracket to bracket size), and then another 28mm for the cloth size.

Roller Blinds Outside Recess...
We always ask you for the blind size, then we will add 31mm for the "pin-size" (bracket to bracket size).

Venetian Blinds Inside Recess...
We will always ask for the recess size, then we deduct 13mm for the width and drop.

Venetian Blinds Outside Recess...
We always ask you for the required size, you may want to ask for a blind about 100mm more than your window recess.

Pleated Blinds Inside Recess...
We will always ask for the recess size, then we deduct 13mm for the width and drop.
