What deductions do you make off each blind type and why does this vary depending on the blind type?
We make all the necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. This usually means we'll deduct approximately 12mm from the width of your blind, depending on blind type.
- With Roller blinds, we also have to allow for fittings at either end of the blind as there is no headrail. This means the actual fabric is approximately 28mm less for an exact measurement and 31mm less for a recess measurement.
- With Vertical blinds we make a deduction off the drop of the louvers, this is to ensure that they hang freely and aren't going to get caught on the window cill or flooring.
